Accommodation overview: Within easy walking distance of Crantock village square and beach, this pleasant modern link-detached bungalow in a quiet residential close offers comfortable family accommodation. To the front, a low walled garden has an open driveway with parking for one car and a gentle slope leads up to the front door which opens to a small lobby and from there into a central hallway.

The accommodation consists of an L shaped sitting/dining room with an ornamental stone fireplace and a large window overlooking the front garden, a small well equipped kitchen with fitted units and a quarry tiled floor, and an attractive double glazed conservatory, reached both from the kitchen and the living room, with a pine breakfast table and cane furniture. There are two spacious bedrooms with a kingsize double and twin beds respectively, the former with a wash basin, and a bathroom W.C. with hand basin and additional shower cubicle completes the accommodation.

From the conservatory, a door leads out to a sheltered rear patio area and a securely hedged and gated south facing lawned garden with beautiful views across rolling hills to Cubert Common and beyond to The Kelseys in the distance, a view shared from all the rear windows.

There are two pubs and a local shop/P.O. within a 10 minute walk downhill and the lovely sandy beach next to the Gannel Estuary is only a 15-20 minute walk. Holywell Bay Fun Park has lots of activities for children including go karting, there are riding stables and a golf course nearby as well as delightful walks across Cubert Common to Kelsey Head, Porth Joke and Pentire Point West. The holiday resort of Newquay is 4 miles.

Accommodation overview: A detached, spacious, double glazed stone barn conversion with extensive views of unspoilt countryside, only a few minutes drive from the market town of Wadebridge and within easy reach of all the beaches around the Camel Estuary. Set at the end of a long farm drive, which leads up from a quiet country lane to the Hay Barn, the owners home and the existing working pasture farm is to one side.

From the parking area, a couple of steps lead up through the patio garden with stone chippings and flower borders to the stable front door which opens into the ground floor hallway. Downstairs there are a shower room W.C. with hand basin, a family bedroom with a double and single bed and a master bedroom with a kingsize bed and an en-suite bathroom W.C. with hand basin and shower over the bath. Both bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and French Windows overlooking the original farmyard.

Wooden stairs lead up to the centre of an attractive open-plan living room comprising the whole of the upper floor with windows on two sides giving views of the surrounding countryside. With a light and airy décor, there is a comfortable sitting area with a wood burning stove and a stable door in one corner. At the opposite end of the large living room bisected by the stairwell, there is a modern kitchen area with oak fitted units, a ceramic tiled floor and a farmhouse style dining table and chairs. To one side of the parking area, there is a small level lawn for the sole use of the visitors.

Wadebridge, 2 miles, has a good selection of shops, restaurants, a cinema and a sports centre with swimming pool, and there is also a supermarket within a 5 minute drive. There are several village pubs offering food within a short drive, as are a good variety of beaches, golf courses and watersport activities. The area has good rural walks, riding stables and cycle trails including the popular Camel Trail, bicycle hire is available in both Padstow and Wadebridge.

Accommodation overview: Situated in the middle of beautiful unspoilt rolling fields with superb coastal walks nearby giving access to secluded coves and beaches, the Roundhouse was formerly a working annexe to the main barn.

Approached down a 300 metre unmade drive, the cottage is entered from the sheltered sunny patio through French Windows which open directly into the light and airy sitting room. The ground floor is open plan and tiled throughout with a spacious sitting area benefiting from two large south facing windows providing wonderful views over the open lawned gardens and countryside beyond.

There is a sofa bed for alternative sleeping arrangements, a dining area, fitted kitchen, bathroom with hand basin and shower over the bath and separate W.C. An attractive wooden staircase leads up to the balcony bedroom, with a king size double bed and is crowned, as is the living room, by the original timber beams and braces. There is ample parking for a car and boat trailer.

The surrounding grassy garden is fenced off from the farmland but guests with pets are requested to supervise them at all times. The Old Ferry Inn at Bodinnick, 1 mile, provides good pub food, and Fowey via the ferry, has a wide variety of restaurants, pubs and shops. Fowey estuary is perfect for all types of leisure activities and there is a boat park with slipway half a mile away. The Eden Project is within easy reach.

Accommodation overview: A double fronted cottage of great character at the end of an attractive row of mixed thatched and slate roofed dwellings in the pretty rural hamlet of Bohortha, a few minutes walk from the sandy beach of Porthbeor almost at the tip of St Anthonys Head.

Entered through a small porch with coat pegs which leads into a little hallway wide, rather steep stairs ahead, the cottage has a light, low beamed sitting room on one side. On the other side a beamed kitchen dining room has fitted units and electric cooker.

Upstairs is a bathroom W.C. with hand basin, heated towel rail and shower over the bath and two bedrooms with twin and a king size double bed respectively. The cottage is not ideal for toddlers. The area has lovely coastal and rural walks from the cottage and the foot ferry from Place (10 to 15 minutes walk) across to St Mawes runs every 20 minutes from April to October. From St Mawes, and again by foot ferry, it is possible to cross to Falmouth.

Tucked to one side of a large farmhouse the cottages are reached from an unmade track (where there is room to park) and a short path which leads to a wall and gate at the end of the row. There are open plan gardens to the front and service areas to the rear but each has its own spacious main garden reached by a few steps at the further end of the row about 75 yards away. Crotchet has a large lawn, drying area and lovely wide views of the countryside and sea beyond.

Porthbeor beach
can be reached by footpath and a flight of steps; Towan beach about 3/4 mile down the lane has a National Trust car park and easy access by a sloping path.

Accommodation overview: Less than 15 minutes by car from the beautiful fishing port of Looe and the South Coast beaches, this detached double glazed barn conversion with lovely country views is set in the peaceful rural hamlet of Trelowia

Built into sloping ground at the end of a long lane with a parking area for two cars, the front door opens directly into a long living room with painted stonewalls, pine flooring and beams rising to the apex of the roof.  There is a comfortable seating area with an electric flicker flame fire set before a large picture window, a dining suite is arranged in the middle of the room and a fully fitted kitchen with double oven shares the rural views

To one side, a few steps lead up to a hallway with a bathroom W.C. with hand basin and shower over the bath and a downstairs bedroom with a 5ft double, board and beam ceiling and a window overlooking the owners terrace.

Stairs from the hall lead up to two further bedrooms; a modest sized room with two 3ft single beds and the master bedroom with a 5ft double, an en-suite shower room W.C. with hand basin and a door opening to a small patio area.  There are two areas of lawned garden, one at each end of the property for the visitors sole use. 

There is an extensive local farm shop 3/4 of a mile along the country lane and the nearest newsagent/P.O./store is at No Man’s Land just over 2 miles away. Hessenford,1.25 miles, has a delightful old Inn and there are a wealth of woodland walks following the tumbling river through the beautiful Seaton Valley.

The twin villages of Seaton and Downderry both with sandy beaches are approx 4 miles by road and for a larger selection of amenities the towns of Liskeard and Looe are a 15 minute drive respectively.

Accommodation overview: A comfortable Edwardian end of terrace house in Treknow with views across the fields towards the coast and only 3/4 of a mile from the beach at Trebarwith Strand.

Set in an elevated position, a flight of gated steps leads up from the narrow lane to a small terrace and the front door which opens to a hallway with a mosaic tiled floor. To one side is a light and airy sitting room with a stripped wood floor, a period fireplace and lovely views from a large bay window down the valley to Trebarwith.

At the rear of the house is a spacious pine fitted kitchen with a slate floor and a long dining table next to a decorative old range. A couple of steps lead up to a useful utility room with a 2nd sink and a W.C. and a children's playroom with table football and casual seating. A back door opens out to a service area where a series of steps lead up to a landscaped hillside garden where children will require supervision.

Carpeted stairs lead up from the entrance hall to the first floor where there are a bathroom with hand basin and shower over the bath, a cloakroom W.C. with tiny basin and three bedrooms all with rugs on the natural wood floor. A twin bedroom looks across at the rear garden and two double bedrooms have views of the countryside with a glimpse of the sea in the distance.

Stairs continue up to the second floor where a large bedroom has two single beds, wide open views from two skylight windows, and an en-suite shower room W.C. with hand basin. There is parking available at the rear for two large cars and one car at the front of the house.

Trebarwith Strand is a 20 minute walk by footpath and the pleasant Mill House Inn is 1/4 of a mile down a fairly steep hill. Tintagel, 1 mile, has several shops, pubs and restaurants in addition to the mediaeval castle and there are spectacular coastal walks in the immediate area.

Accommodation overview: Just half a mile from the stunning South West Coastal Path and the secluded beach at Lansallos Cove, this 200 year old, double-fronted traditional cottage is set in the tiny churchtown of Lansallos, to the east of the Fowey River. Reached by quiet narrow lanes, a gravel driveway offers parking for a car and boat trailer.

A garden path leads to the entrance porch with a quarry tiled floor and inner door to the front hallway. The ground floor accommodation consists of a warm and cosy sitting room with comfortable seating and an electric real flame fire, and a country pine fitted kitchen with a matching dining suite.

A carpeted staircase leads up from the hall and divides at the top; on one side is a double bedroom and on the opposite side is a twin bedded room and a bathroom W.C. with wash basin and shower over the bath. Both cottage-style bedrooms have hand basins and views of the surrounding unspoilt countryside with an oblique glimpse of the sea.

At the front of the property is a patio area with a couple of steps leading up to a small sloping grassy garden; children will require supervision as there is an unguarded drop down to the lane. The owners live in a small single storey extension to one side of the original cottage.

The picturesque harbour at Polperro is 2 miles by road where there are a selection of shops, pubs and restaurants, and the larger resort of Looe, 6 miles away, has a wider choice of amenities and a sandy beach. Polruan and Bodinnick are about 4.5 miles respectively and each have a quaint old pub and a ferry operating to Fowey. The attractive beach at Lansallos is about a 20 minute walk down a fairly steep path which leads through the woods and fields high above the sea.

There are excellent walks leading out to Pencarrow Head where there are fine views across Lantic and Lantivet Bays; Polruan to the west and Polperro to the east are 3 miles respectively via the Coastal Footpath. There are also a wealth of boat trips available locally both up river and out to sea. The Eden Project, Lanhydrock House and Bodmin Moor are all within easy driving distance.

Accommodation overview: A spacious detached double-glazed house standing in an elevated position, up the hill from the Old Ferry Inn at Bodinnick, across the water from Fowey. The house is approached by a flight of railed steps and a pathway to the front door where a couple of further steps lead to the entrance porch and central hallway.

Off the hallway is a comfortable sitting room with a conservatory which leads onto a small sun terrace above the garage. On the other side of the hallway is a dining room/newly fitted kitchen with an adjacent laundry room and separate W.C.

Upstairs are a newly refurbished bathroom W.C. with hand basin and shower over the bath and three bedrooms, one with a 5ft double bed and one with two single beds, both have wash basins and partial river views. The third very small room has a childs single bed tucked under the eaves and is only suitable for the under 12s.

A small grassy garden is reached by a dozen steps leading up to one side of the house where toddlers and pets will require supervision.  Parking is available both in the small garage and at the front of the property.

The Bodinnick ferry offers a regular service across the river to Fowey which has a wide selection of shops, pubs and restaurants is just a couple of minutes walk down the fairly steep hill where there is a pub and restaurant.

The north and south coast beaches and harbours are within a 30 minute drive.  Bodmin Moor with its rugged tors, standing stones and native ponies is close by, all ensuring there’s a wealth of different places to visit rather than being tied to one location.
 
Whatever the weather, there is something to do at Lakeview, from the indoor heated swimming pool, gym, sauna or spa.  There are tennis courts, a 9-hole golf course, driving range and 3 acres of fishing lakes.  The Country Club has a bar and restaurant which are open for lunch and dinner (the use of some facilities incurs additional cost).   

Approached from a shared tarmac parking area within the grounds, a short path leads to Aztec’s paved patio with garden furniture and lighting for summer evenings.  The glazed front door opens directly into a light and airy open-plan kitchen and living room with a tiled floor and sliding doors to the patio and communal parkland.

Furnished in a contemporary style there is a neatly fitted kitchen area with modern units and integral appliances, a comfortable leather corner settee and a glass topped dining table and chairs.  The property has a ground floor bedroom with three single beds and built-in wardrobe, and an en-suite shower room with W.C. and vanity basin.  

A staircase leads from the living room to a small landing, a master bedroom with a 5ft double and glazed doors opening to a balcony with views of the tree shaded lawns.  A bathroom W.C. with hand basin, jacuzzi bath and separate shower cubicle completes the first floor accommodation.  

The nearby village of Lanivet is 1.5 miles, it has a local shop, post office and pub.  For a wider range of amenities the old county town of Bodmin is 4 miles.  The Camel Trail, for walkers and cyclists is 3 miles away and stretches from Padstow to Bodmin MoorThe Eden Project is a 20 minute drive.  There are picturesque villages, harbours and spectacular beaches all within half an hour by car including Padstow, Port Isaac and Newquay on the north coast and Par Sands, Fowey and Charlestown on the south.  Aztec is away from busy road, yet is easily accessible, with the Midlands being only a 3 hours’ drive.
