The main reception rooms have each been designed to maximise the views across the River Dart and to the woods beyond. The apartments offer a spacious entrance hall and living accommodation, with large bathrooms on the same level. The townhouse (no 26), formerly the show home, enjoys a private riverside terrace whilst the apartments offer a balcony, a large window seat or fabulous windows from which to enjoy the wonderful views. State-of-the-art contemporary kitchen with Poggenphol units and Smeg appliances making self catering a pleasure, whilst bedrooms and living areas are luxuriously appointed with sumptuous soft furnishings and bathrooms are beautifully presented with towels.All properties are strictly non-smoking and no pets are allowed. Accommodation overview: Located next to a dairy farm (hence the names) at the end of a quiet lane in the small hamlet of East Down, just 5 minutes drive from Dartmouth. 'Clover', 'Buttercup' and 'Daisy' are three very tastefully decorated and furnished barns, retaining many original features including exposed beams and roof timbers. (Please note these properties are available to book together http://www.coastandcountry.co.uk/cottage-details/CLOV or http://www.coastandcountry.co.uk/cottage-details/DAIS )As with many barn conversions the accommodation is inverted with kitchen and lounge/dining room above the ground floor bedrooms and bathroom. All three barns are available to book together for larger family groups - please call the office as discounts may be available for a group booking. The development is teaming with bird life and wildlife such as hares, hedgehogs and water voles. The popular beaches at Blackpool Sands and Slapton Sands as well as the nature reserve at Slapton Ley are within a pleasant 10 minute drive. There is also direct access to public footpaths with a beautiful walk to Blackawton highly recommended, and if all this were not enough, Woodlands Leisure Park is just 5 minutes drive away.
