Accommodation overview: Situated in the upper part of Devon Road, some 10-15 minutes walk from the town centre and North Sands beach, Sunnyledge and Burberry are two adjoining halves of one large traditional town house - each has been extensively and tastefully upgraded to a modern standard over recent seasons. The layout of each house effectively mirrors the other with all accommodation on two levels (via separate stone steps up to 1st floor entrances), each property enjoys lovely views across the estuary through an area of protected woodland. Whilst Sunnyledge and Burberry are essentially individual properties with private access and accommodation they also offer opportunities for 2 families seeking adjacent accommodation of an equivalent, high standard.

Accommodation overview: Court Barton is situated in the village of Aveton Gifford adjacent to St. Andrews Church which dates from the 12th century. The 16th Century stone built owner's farmhouse looks down the valley to the Avon estuary and is set within some 8 acres of garden with a duck pond, fields and paddock, all of which is available for guests to enjoy. There are also a number of footpaths and bridle paths surrounding the property. The owners have two ponies (Twinkle and Mickey Mouse), as well as four ducks, a cockerel and several chickens (who lay lovely free range eggs!), and two friendly guinea pigs (Tuffers and Ginger). Aveton Gifford lies within the Avon Valley in the heart of the South Hams and is an ideal base to explore South Devon. The village boasts a friendly pub with restaurant and pool table. Bar meals are also offered and children are very welcome (www.the-fishermansrest.co.uk) Launching access for boats is available on the river Avon which meanders out to Bantham beach and the sea beyond. Behind the main farmhouse a 100 year old stone barn has been converted into Two very comfortable holiday cottages, The Old Stables, The Dairy.

The building was significantly renovated and the front elevation fully restored in recent years, and is now an attractive landmark in this popular area of the town. Dartview is set in the very heart of the town with easy access to all local facilities including restaurants, shops, galleries and pubs - the famous waterfront is within just a few minutes' level walk. The townhouse (no 26), formerly the show home, enjoys a private riverside terrace whilst the apartments offer a balcony, a large window seat or fabulous windows from which to enjoy the wonderful views. State-of-the-art contemporary kitchen with Poggenphol units and Smeg appliances making self catering a pleasure, whilst bedrooms and living areas are luxuriously appointed with sumptuous soft furnishings and bathrooms are beautifully presented with towels.All properties are strictly non-smoking and no pets are allowed.
