Accommodation overview: 'The Salcombe' (formerly the Salcombe Hotel), is situated in Fore Street, on a prominent site with long water frontage and centrally placed for all amenities. Magnificent views from all flats of the main anchorage, towards South Pool Creek and the beaches at East Portlemouth. Apartments within this attractive building offer central heating if required and use of communal gardens around the property, laundry room, parking for one car per flat, mooring on the pontoon for one dinghy (overall length including motor 5 metres and 2 metres maximum beam) and heated swimming pool available from the Spring Bank Holiday weekend until the end of September. A lift is available from the reception area (on the first floor) to the third and fourth floors only. There is also a restaurant/wine bar within the building.

Accommodation overview: Little Cotton Barn is set in 3 acres of land in a beautiful tranquil location at the end of a country lane yet just 5 minutes drive from the famous naval town of Dartmouth. The barn adjoining the Farmhouse has each been sensitively reconstructed in recent years to provide a very high standard of accommodation whilst retaining many of the traditional features and characteristics of the original buildings.In spite of the rural location Little Cotton is easily accessible and close to local facilities - the 'Park and Ride' bus service into Dartmouth, as well as the town's Leisure Centre and largest supermarkets (Sainsburys and Lidl) are within a short walking distance. Little Cotton is an ideal retreat for families with a range of facilities available to keep children of all ages entertained. There is a large grass area for ball games with small child friendly goal posts, a 12' trampoline (with safety enclosure) and an activity fort with swings, climbing frame and slide will keep them busy for hours! Additionally there is an indoor play area with a multi-activity table (tennis/snooker, football etc), many board games, a wide selection of toys for all ages, books and colouring and various outdoor games (balls etc). There is even a large tub of spare wellies, just in case! Wii Games Stations are provided in both properties making it ideal accommodation for any time of the year (Christmas decorations are also provided). Whilst each of these areas can be seen from both properties there is also a picnic bench - with picnic crockery provided - from where parents can sit and watch their children.From the courtyard an opening leads through to a natural meadow and pretty pond, with picnic benches to sit and enjoy the wildlife. All areas are fenced for safety but young children must be supervised at all times.

The main reception rooms have each been designed to maximise the views across the River Dart and to the woods beyond. The apartments offer a spacious entrance hall and living accommodation, with large bathrooms on the same level. The townhouse (no 26), formerly the show home, enjoys a private riverside terrace whilst the apartments offer a balcony, a large window seat or fabulous windows from which to enjoy the wonderful views. State-of-the-art contemporary kitchen with Poggenphol units and Smeg appliances making self catering a pleasure, whilst bedrooms and living areas are luxuriously appointed with sumptuous soft furnishings and bathrooms are beautifully presented with towels.All properties are strictly non-smoking and no pets are allowed. A cot and highchair are available at each property on request (excluding No.3), but due to the waterside location parents must supervise young children at all times.
