There is also a lot of wildlife to see including kingfishers, sandmartins, buzzards and herons, maybe an otter or skylark. You can also watch the wildlife on and around the river from the large hide overlooking the River Ottery on the Devon and Cornwall boundary. There are webcams set up to capture the wildlife around the farm which can be viewed on the TV in your cottage, you may be lucky enough to watch Swallows eggs hatching in the nest or bats leaving an old barn.
