Accommodation overview: This charming cottage has been sympathetically renovated to retain its original character but with all modern conveniences. Situated in the delightful village of Pentewan, just a short walk from the golden sandy beach and village pub and shops. Pentewan itself also offers cycle hire and water sports facilities, a diving centre and 3 local golf courses nearby. Situated on the South Cornish coast, which is littered with picturesque harbours and fishing villages that still offer a taste of the real Cornwall. Mevagissey, a fishing village the next cove along from Pentewan, offers an authentic slice of Cornwall with its picture postcard harbour and narrow streets and offers a selection of pubs, boutique shops and restaurants. The Lost Gardens of Heligan are a short drive from your doorstep, as is the Eden Project (acclaimed as the 'Eighth wonder of the world'), both of which combine education and beauty to create a must visit for any visitors to the County. St Austell is just a short drive with it's brand new shopping centre - White River Place. The accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: 1 double and 1 twin. Bathroom: with bath, electric shower and WC (accessed via steep cottage-style stairs). Lounge: welcoming and cosy, it offers ample seating in front of the open fireplace, flat screen TV and DVD. Dining room: with ceiling at approximately 6'2", this is low in comparison to the rest of the property, ample seating and an open-plan feel into the kitchen. Kitchen: newly fitted offering integrated dishwasher, washer/dryer, and oven, hob with extractor hood, fridge (with ice compartment) and microwave. Outside: small patio area at the front of the property with table and chairs. Amenities: parking is available in the village square on a first-come basis, but you can drop luggage off at the cottage. Bed linen, towels, electric and panel heating included. Regret no pets. Additional info: Cornish welcome treats on arrival. Location: beach, shops and pub all within walking distance.
