Accommodation overview: With a glorious view over the rooftops to the harbour and across St Ives Bay, this first floor apartment is one of three recently converted from an original Presbytery set right in the heart of the picturesque harbour town of St Ives.  This double glazed, light and airy apartment offers warm and comfortable year round accommodation and is just a short stroll from the harbour and the splendid sandy beaches that form a golden fringe around the town. 

Accessed from the bustling main street, a couple of steps lead up to the communal hallway and an internal railed stairway leads to the private front door on the first floor which opens to a carpeted hallway.  Furnished in a contemporary style, the accommodation comprises of a living room with a smartly fitted kitchen area, comfortable lounge seating and a dining suite next to a large window with delightful views extending over the rooftops across St Ives Bay and out to sea.

There are two pleasantly furnished bedrooms in a crisp décor on the landward side; a spacious master bedroom with a 5ft double, and one with a standard double bed and the original ornamental fireplace.  To complete the accommodation, there is a modern shower room W.C. with hand basin and heated towel rail accessed from the hallway.  The bell of the Sacred Heart and St la church attached only rings on a Sunday morning. 

There are a wide selection of shops, restaurants, pubs and art galleries within easy walking distance, as are several sandy beaches, the nearest being either the Harbour or Porthminster Blue Flag beach which also has a watersports centre

Fishing boats still operate from the lovely harbour as do pleasure boat trips and self hire boats, there is a leisure centre with swimming pool nearby and scenic circular and cliff walks around St Ives incorporating the South West Coastal Path.  A local bus service operates to Penzance, Hayle, St Agnes, Perranporth & Newquay and this apartment is also conveniently located for the railway station if wishing to holiday without a car.

Accommodation overview: Formerly the Victory Inn dating back to the 17th century, this grade II listed corner cottage with considerable character is set in a cobbled alleyway leading from the bustling main street in the heart of the delightful resort of St Ives. Just a few paces from the picturesque harbour and close to the shops, the renovated and comfortably furnished accommodation is on three floors with sea views over the neighbouring rooftops from the top two floors.

Entered directly from the street, half a dozen steep steps lead up to the front door which opens to a hallway with coat pegs. A wide carpeted staircase leads straight up from the hall to a half landing, a bathroom W.C. with hand basin and shower over the bath, and then to the first floor. Leading off are a neatly fitted kitchen with modern units and a cushioned window seat overlooking the cobbled lane below, and a warm and cosy living room with a cottage style lounge suite, dining furniture and glimpses of the sea over the rooftops.

On this level there are also two double bedded rooms with pine bedroom furniture and partial views of the harbour and sea over the rooftops, the larger of the two with a vanity basin and cushioned window seat. A small doorway on the landing opens to a very steep narrow staircase with a rope hand rail and leads directly up to an attic room set under a low, sloping, beamed ceiling with comfortable seating and stunning views from a dormer window over the roofs to the attractive harbour and beyond to St Ives Bay. There are four portable heaters to make the cottage feel cosy at any time of the year.

It is possible to unload close by but parking is in any of the pay and display car parks within the town. All the amenities of the town are on the doorstep with an extensive range of galleries, restaurants, pubs and cafes, and there are a choice of four magnificent beaches all within easy walking distance. The original pub sign now resides in the local St Ives Museum, and both the Tate Gallery on Porthmeor beach and the Barbara Hepworth Museum are a short stroll away.
