Accommodation overview: An attractive mid-terrace granite cottage set high above the pretty fishing village of Mousehole, with panoramic views across Mounts Bay and only a short walk downhill to the small harbour and beach.

Entered from a rather steep pedestrian lane, a couple of steps lead up to the front porch and an inner door opens directly into a comfortably furnished sitting room with a board and beam ceiling, a light crisp decor and sea views over the village roof tops looking across to the Lizard. Two steps at the rear of the sitting room lead up to a dining area which has the benefit of views through a hatchway in the wall, and a neatly fitted kitchen with a stable door opening to a small service yard.

Carpeted stairs go up to a tiny landing which has doors to a pine furnished double bedroom with stunning views over the garden looking down to the harbour and far out to sea and to a bathroom W.C. with wash basin and electric shower over the bath. To complete the accommodation, a door leads off the bathroom to a second bedroom with sturdy bunk beds which are 5ft 9inch in length and windows overlooking the wooded hillside at the rear.

On the opposite side of the footpath, at the front of the cottage, half a dozen gated steps lead down to a delightful sheltered garden with a patio and sundeck, a small decorative pond and a sloping lawn with partial sea views.

Although the cottage is set away from the busy harbour front, all the village amenities are still within easy walking distance as is the coastal footpath with lovely scenery leading round to Lamorna Valley. Penzance, 3 miles, has a rail and bus terminus and offers trips by boat to the Isles of Scilly. The safe beaches of Mounts Bay are a 10 minute drive.

On the opposite side of the hall are a cloakroom W.C. with hand basin, and a fully fitted kitchen / dining room with pale coloured units and coordinating dining suite.

Upstairs are three bedrooms, a king-size 6ft double with one easy chair overlooking the river leading down to the harbour mouth, two twin bedded rooms, one with vanity basin, and bathroom W.C. with hand basin and shower fitment over the bath. Accessed from the kitchen and living room, French doors open to a charming and spacious walled patio, ideal for evening barbecues.

It is possible to unload outside the property, but parking is in the car park 200 yards away. Shops, pubs and the harbour are all within easy level walking distance, the coastal footpath is close at hand and the beaches of Trebarwith Strand and Crackington Haven are about 5 miles respectively.

Accommodation overview: Recently refurbished with views of unspoilt countryside just over 4 miles from the beaches at Crantock and Newquay this is the self contained first floor wing of the owners farmhouse. Tucked away in a secluded valley it is approached from the parking area via a short gravel path to the fully glazed front door which opens to an entrance porch with a quarry tiled floor, coat pegs and laundry facilities.

From here, a carpeted staircase with a fitted stairgate at the top leads directly up to the first floor landing and the simple and fresh accommodation. There is a pleasant living room in a natural decor comprising a neatly fitted kitchen area in one corner, a drop leaf dining suite and comfortable seating arranged before a window with a rural outlook.

A bathroom W.C. with wash basin and bath with hand held shower fitment can be accessed from the landing and there are two ample sized bedrooms; the master bedroom has a double bed with views of the neighbouring fields and the second bedroom has the option of either a double or twin beds as preferred.

Visitors are welcome to use the owners
extensive country garden in addition to marked woodland walks on their 350 acre livestock farm and children may enjoy their 14ft unenclosed trampoline, slide and shed. Toddlers will require supervision and pets must be kept under control in this farming region. Undercover storage for beachgear and bicycles can also be arranged.

There is a local store/P.O. and village pub in Quintrell Downs one and a half miles away. There are numerous beaches within a 15 minute drive of the property including Fistral, Crantock and Holywell Bay, as are several golf courses. The National Trust Elizabethan manor house and gardens of Trerice is just a 10 minute walk by country lane and the popular holiday resort of Newquay, 4.5 miles, has lovely beaches, a sea life centre, zoo and waterworld leisure park. Lappa Valley Steam Railway and Dairyland Farm World are within a short drive.

Freshly renovated to provide a high standard of comfort and warmth, yet retaining the period charm and character, the property is entered through a glazed front door set beneath a stone archway which leads directly into the open plan living room and a galleried hallway.

At the far end of the hall is a neatly fitted modern kitchen area with a terracotta tiled floor, and an adjacent doorway opening to a pleasant double bedded room with built-in furniture and a small en-suite shower room W.C. with hand basin.

From the raised hallway, four steps lead down to an attractive living room with the elevated ceiling complemented by soft wall uplighting. Set at the seaward end of this old fashioned street, with a couple of nautical pubs steeped in history just a short stroll away, the town has an extensive range of shops and restaurants close by as well as being the rail terminus for the West.

The nearby promenade in Penzance stretches along the shoreline from the busy harbour around to the fishing village of Newlyn providing a lovely 1.5 mile level walk, and there are daily ferry services nearby operating to the Isles of Scilly.

Each eco lodge is detached and uses sustainable, natural materials and timbers along with solar panels to provide excellent insulation whilst taking care of the planet. Although not officially adapted for wheelchair users, the property is suitable for less mobile as there are no steps internally or out.

Praze is arranged on one floor and on entering the property, a hallway divides and to one side is the cosy lounge/ kitchen/ diner with electric living flame fire and French windows which open onto the decking area outside. The bright and sunny dining area sits adjacent to the well equipped
modern kitchen and the open plan design makes this property perfect for families and group gatherings.

On the other side of the hallway, the property provides three bedrooms. The first room to one side provides a twin bedroom with standard size twin beds, followed by a separate bathroom with bath, shower over and WC. At the end of the corridor, the property provides one double bedroom and an additional double bedroom with en-suite shower room with walk in shower and WC.

The decking leads all the way around the property and provides wonderful views of the valley and beyond from a seating area at one end. Praze provides two parking spaces directly adjacent to the property with additional parking on site.

Accommodation overview: A semi detached cottage set within a small hamlet about 2 miles from the coast at Pentewan which can be reached by car or by cycle path alongside the river.  Set to one side of the Mevagissey road and fronted by a small but very pretty walled and gated garden it is entered via a side path to a service courtyard at one side. 

A door opens directly into a small fitted kitchen with a glazed door leading into an attractive beamed sitting / dining room with comfortable seating and a fireplace with an electric fire at the further end. 

Open tread stairs go directly up to the first floor where there is a bathroom W.C. with hand basin, bath and  shower cubicle and a bedroom with a double bed.  A traditional staircase continues up to the top floor and a delightful bedroom with a 4ft double bed.   There is a useful shed for bike and beach gear storage.  

A small shop about 150 yards away has long opening hours during the season There is a bistro restaurant in the village and a pub a short walk away.  Pentewan village about 2 miles has a pub, restaurant and small shops.  Ideally situated for touring the County, the cottage is approximately midway between the Lost Gardens of Heligan and The Eden Project, with beaches and golf courses within easy reach. 

On one side of the valley between London Apprentice and Pentewan is the beautiful and ancient Kings Wood popular with walkers and cyclists.  St Austell 2 miles has a leisure centre, shops and cinema and its main line railway station and bus terminus can be easily accessed from a bus stop at London Apprentice.  The picturesque harbours of Mevagissey and Charlestown are approximately 4 miles.

Converted from single storey granite barns on two sides of a courtyard and set on the cliffs above Whitesand Bay and Sennen Cove, it is within walking distance, by footpath, of magnificent sandy beaches.

The cottage is approached by a farm lane and entered from the outer side by way of a landscaped garden and parking space for two cars. The front door leads into a small entrance lobby with coat pegs and then into an open-plan light and airy living room with newly fitted kitchen units, comfortable seating next to a gas woodburner effect stove and French doors to a patio and walled grassy garden on the seaward side.

There is a shower room W.C. with hand basin and two pleasantly furnished bedrooms which have a 5ft double and twin beds respectively. The village amenities of Sennen and Sennen Cove are about five minutes drive and for the more energetic the Blue Flag beach at Whitesands is a fifteen minute walk down the hill by cliff path.

Accommodation overview: A spacious detached double-glazed house standing in an elevated position, up the hill from the Old Ferry Inn at Bodinnick, across the water from Fowey. The house is approached by a flight of railed steps and a pathway to the front door where a couple of further steps lead to the entrance porch and central hallway.

Off the hallway is a comfortable sitting room with a conservatory which leads onto a small sun terrace above the garage. On the other side of the hallway is a dining room/newly fitted kitchen with an adjacent laundry room and separate W.C.

Upstairs are a newly refurbished bathroom W.C. with hand basin and shower over the bath and three bedrooms, one with a 5ft double bed and one with two single beds, both have wash basins and partial river views. The third very small room has a childs single bed tucked under the eaves and is only suitable for the under 12s.

A small grassy garden is reached by a dozen steps leading up to one side of the house where toddlers and pets will require supervision.  Parking is available both in the small garage and at the front of the property.

The Bodinnick ferry offers a regular service across the river to Fowey which has a wide selection of shops, pubs and restaurants is just a couple of minutes walk down the fairly steep hill where there is a pub and restaurant.

Accommodation overview: Only two miles inland from Talland Bay on the picturesque South Coast and three miles from the historic fishing villages of Looe and Polperro, this light and spacious single storey cottage adjacent to The Owl, is converted from a farm building in the small hamlet of Ashen Cross just outside the village of Pelynt.  

Approached by a short drive, The Court is entered from a small enclosed courtyard garden which backs on to fields at the rear of the cottage.  The front door opens into an open-plan living room with a pine ceiling and French doors to the private fully enclosed garden and patio at the rear. There are comfortable sitting and dining areas and an attractive well fitted kitchen area with a slate floor. 

To complete the accommodation, there is a bedroom with a king size bed and an en-suite shower room W.C. with hand basin and walk-in shower.  The owners also invite visitors to explore their private gardens of two acres including two fresh water lakes of half an acre, with a summer house where visitors can watch the activities of the birds and wildlife that inhabit this lakeside environment.  The parking area has ample space for a car and boat trailer and there is a shared laundry room in the courtyard. 

The village of Pelynt, half a mile, has a pub which offers food, small shops, post office and a church.  The south facing beach and coastal footpath at Talland Bay is two miles and the area is surrounded by woodland with forest trails and picnic areas.  The Eden Project is within a 30 minute drive.

Accommodation overview: Located in a wooded conservation area 100 yards uphill from the head of Penpol Creek, a tidal tributary of Restronguet Creek, this detached bungalow stands in a quiet elevated position to one side of a country lane.  Brambles is a haven for wildlife lovers; apart from birds, squirrels and foxes, otters have also been seen in the creek off Point Quay catching fish.

Entered from the tarmac driveway where there is parking for a car and boat trailer, a dozen steps and path lead up through the pretty landscaped garden to the front door which opens to a long narrow hallway. At one end, a pleasant sitting / dining room has an electric fire set in the Cornish slate hearth, comfortable lounge furniture and a dining suite next to the serving hatch. From here, French Windows and two steps lead down to a wide railed balcony with patio table and chairs and partial views over the creek, more visible in the spring and autumn.

Leading off the hall are a fitted kitchen with a quarry tiled floor and modern fitted units, and a bathroom W.C. with hand basin, heated towel rail and shower over the bath. To complete the accommodation, there are two spacious bedrooms with a double and two single beds, both catching glimpses of the water between the tree covered banks. A flight of concrete steps lead up to a small sheltered lawned garden with mature trees and shrubs, a little pond, and undercover washing lines beneath the balcony. Young children and pets will require supervision as the garden is not enclosed and there are several changes in levels.

The villages of Playing Place and Carnon Downs, 2 miles respectively, have general stores/P.O. and there are local pubs serving food at Penelewey and Devoran 1.5 miles away. It is possible to launch dinghies at Point slipway at high tide half a mile away, or Loe Beach where there is a charge. Tuition and hire facilities are available at Loe Beach Watersports Centre two miles away, and it is only a short drive to both Trelissick Gardens and the King Harry Ferry giving access to the beautiful Roseland Peninsula.

The cathedral city of Truro, 4 miles, has an extensive range of shops and the maritime town of Falmouth with its selection of sandy beaches is about 8 miles. Fishing, walking, golf and horse riding are all available in the immediate vicinity.
