Accommodation overview: Bluebird Cottage sits proudly above Coniston Village and enjoys superb views of the Lake and surrounding fell ranges, sufficient to tempt the most novice of walkers. The village has a good number of amenities for the self caterer although all the local pubs offer bar food during the day and into the evening. Bluebird Cottage was a former quarry workers cottage and has recently undergone a major refurbishment throughout to create an open plan layout, beautifully furnished with stylish new kitchen, bathroom and living space. The two parking spaces to the side of the cottage are a huge advantage and the sitting out area to the front, with lake views, is sure to be well utilised when our typical Lakeland weather will allow!

Accommodation overview: Yew Tree Farm is a truly stunning property steeped in history and with a wealth of character every guest is sure to appreciate. Modernised by the owner to the very highest specification with every conceivable modern day convenience, luxuriously furnished, and equipped to an excellent standard. The garden is a real feature of the house. Known as the Image Garden, it is laid out in Italianate style and is full of statues and sculptures created by a previous owner in the early 19th Century - the multitalented Thomas Bland, artist, poet, composer and scientist. Every year they held a garden party for up to 1400 people to celebrate the accession of Queen Victoria. The property can accommodate up to 15 people, ideal for large family gatherings or walking parties. Reagill is a delightful village situated in the unspoilt Eden Valley. This area is probably Cumbrias best-kept secret, with picture postcard villages and beautiful rolling countryside. It is ideal for walking and cycling and offers fishing on the Eden. Nearby attractions include Brougham Castle, Acorn Bank house and gardens, Rheged Discovery centre and Wetheriggs Pottery. Reagill is easily accessible from the M6 and just a stones throw from The Lake District, Yorkshire Dales and Scottish Borders. Accommodation overview: Croft House is a traditional Cross Passage farmhouse, dating back to the 17th Century. It is a Grade II listed building. The Cross Passage refers to the days when it separated the animals from the rest of the house - in those days everything lived under the same roof, the animals providing heat for the rest of the house! Nowadays the animals live separately.. New owners upgraded the house in 2011 into a very comfortable and welcoming house which is full of character and traditional features, including large stone fire places and walls, with lots of oak beams. Situated in the hamlet of Berrier, inside the National Park, Croft House is within 10 minutes drive of the M6 and close to Ullswater and Keswick. The Queen of the English Lakes, Derwentwater, is within 2 miles with magnificent walks around the surrounding fells. The peaceful location of Grange Cottage makes a fabulous place to relax after a hard days walking and away from the hustle and bustle of the town.
