Renovated and luxuriously refurbished in 2011, it is situated in the village of Threlkeld with views in every direction, from St Johns in the Vale and Cleugh Head to the front and the mighty Blencathra towering behind. Built from slate with a brown hue, mined locally and unique to Threlkeld, this impressive detached house enjoys the sun all day long and has phenomenal views from every room. The Coleridge Wing is from where Coleridge drew his inspiration, and saying I question if there be room in England which commands a view of Mountains, Lakes and Woods superior to that in which I am now writing.
