Accommodation overview: Sunnyhill is an 18th century detached cottage in the delightful village of Brigsteer and has all the ingredients for a super holiday within the National Park. Extensive views can be enjoyed from most rooms, (even from the kitchen sink!) out over the Lyth Valley and the Langdales in the distance. There are a large number of traditional country inns serving excellent ales and bar meals only a short drive away. Improved in recent times without any loss of character, Sunnyhill is a lovely home with feature beams throughout and a super wood burning stove to welcome you at the end of the day. Careful thought has been given to provide furnishings and linens to continue the cottage theme throughout and to accommodate the original features of this old house; the floors gently sloping in places and some areas where you should bend or bump.

The location of Carhullan, two miles from the village of Bampton and eight miles from Penrith is a perfect peaceful retreat, yet only 15 minutes from the M6. It is accessed along a no through road where it is situated at the very end, approximately two miles. There are walks from the doorstep, over High Street to Ullswater and across Bampton Common to Haweswater. Bampton has a village tea room with shop and the Mardale Inn serves good food and real ale.

Accommodation overview: Lynwood Cottage occupies an elevated position within the village of Backbarrow, a mere 2 miles south of Newby Bridge at the southern tip of Lake Windermere. The area is an ideal base from where to explore the delights of the Furness Peninsular, the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway and, of course, the steam cruisers on the lake itself. The property is also within easy reach of Grizedale Forest, home to the Go Ape attractions, a series of climbs and walkways set above the forest floor, all with the security of safety harness! Newly refurbished in a contemporary style with much use of bright co-ordinating linens and fabrics throughout, Lynwood is a comfortable and quality home and enjoys direct access from the rear onto the surrounding fells. We are certain that plenty of attractions will keep the whole family busy but for a change of scenery and all important relaxation, a day at the nearby Whitewater Leisure Centre can be enjoyed, payable locally.
