Accommodation overview: Wansfell Lodge resides on the spectacularly situated Limefitt Park, in one of the Lake Districts most beautiful valleys. The valley sides climb steeply to the surrounding peaks, such as High Street and Froswick providing breathtaking scenery. The Lodge is situated in a tranquil location with direct access on to the Lakeland Fells with an abundance of walks and wildlife and although it is only 3 miles from Windermere it retains the feeling of remoteness. On site facilities include a small supremarket, the Haybarn Inn (open April - October), a traditional Lakeland pub serving meals, including breakfast, and a selection of fine ales and a beer garden. There is also a games room, adventure playground and launderette on site. Internet access is avaialble both in the lodge and throughout the site.
