Converted from a traditional stone built barn Saddleback Barn has the comfort of a modern built property with the character and period features of a traditional building including solid Oak beams and feature stone walls. Newton Reigny is a quiet retreat in a great location, 15 minutes drive to Ullswater, easy access from the M6 and plenty of amenities in the nearby market town of Penrith. These 2 characterful barn conversations (Lilac Barn property number 118168) have an interconnecting door and may be let separately or together for up to 6 people and situated in the village of Newton Reigny the Lilacs was originally a farm and the 2 cottages were the Byre and adjoining barn. More recently it was the home to Simon Bull, a well known Cumbrian artist and Lilac Studio was where he did his painting. The quality of accommodation in each cottage is to a very high standard, including top quality facilities and character beamed ceiling.
