Within just minutes drive, the busier resorts of Windermere, Bowness and Ambleside can be explored although we are certain that much time will be spent either gazing out of the lounge window viewing the countryside or spent in the award winning country pub, The Watermill, 50 yards away. Staveley, just 2 miles South of Ings is a thriving village community and offers some fabulous walking in the Kentmere Valley as well as a variety of local trade workshops including wood turners, bakers and micro brewery.
