Boats and canoes are available for hire nearby at Wayford Bridge, Wroxham and Potter Heigham and The Museum of the Broads at nearby Stalham Staithe is well worth a visit. A little further afield you can explore the beautiful beaches of the Norfolk coast or the vibrant cathedral city of Norwich where you will find a huge selection of places to eat, theatres and galleries. 1 & 2 Brick Kiln Barns are two charming single storey adjoining cottages based on the footprint of an ancient brick moulding barn in the pretty village of Dilham. It has a shingle beach, and there is a cliff-top walk, which leads you to the sandy beach at Sheringham just three miles away. The village is famous for being home to the Muckleburgh Military Collection, which is well worth a visit. There are many other opportunities for days out in the area for young and old alike. The village itself has a shop and pub, which serves food.
The Old Barn is a single-storey property set in a quiet lane, only a few minutes walk from the beach. It provides comfortable and spacious accommodation.
