Burnham Market and Holkham are easily accessible and Fakenham offers a variety of shopping opportunities, a very good weekly market, cinema and bowling centre. The village has two pubs both of which serve good food. National Cycle Route 2 runs through the village and the surrounding quiet lanes, eventually ending at Wells-next-the-Sea.
