In a truly unspoilt part of North Norfolk, lies the small village of Tattersett. Holkham, Brancaster and Wells are all within ten miles, with Fakenham just five miles away offering good shopping, pubs, restaurants, ten-pin bowling and a cinema. There is a garage/shop in the village and a pub, which serves meals, two miles away.

The following properties (289, 290, 292, 293) have been skilfully converted from a range of traditional farm barns and come highly recommended by previous customers. Each cottage has its own essential character, but all have beamed ceilings, attractive interiors and comfortable furniture. As an added bonus there is a spacious games barn, which has a snooker table, pool table, table football and a children's play area. You can also enjoy walks from the door, along the owner's private track and water meadow. The cottages provide very pleasant accommodation for a holiday at any time of the year, and a warm welcome is assured.

The rural village of Plumstead is set amidst lovely countryside in an unspoilt part of North Norfolk. The following three properties (424, 425, 426) have been converted from outbuildings in the grounds of the owner's home. They provide comfortable accommodation and are in a lovely peaceful position with views across farmland. The owners also have provision for a maximum of five touring caravans to be accommodated in the adjoining field - this area is screened from the cottages and in no way detracts from their peaceful situation.

This traditional Norfolk barn was at one time the coach house to the farm. It has been converted to provide comfortable accommodation, which is enhanced by the warm and welcoming interior and the well equipped accommodation. Shop/Pub: 1.5 miles

Happisburgh (pronounced Haisbro) is a seaside village on the North East Coast of Norfolk, famous for its red and white lighthouse. It offers visitors a quiet, rural location, sandy beaches and cliff-top walks. The village has a post office/store and a traditional coaching inn and is within a 15-minute drive of the market towns of North Walsham and Stalham with easy access to the Norfolk Broads and many other tourist attractions.

In past years, Church Farm has been a favoured holiday location for famous artists such as Henry Moore, Barbara Hepworth, Ben Nicholson and Ivon Hitchens, keen to relax in a rural idyll. The large grain barn and stables have been sympathetically converted to retain character and create four beautiful cottages, which all have exposed flint walls and old beams. There is a large recreation barn (9am-8pm) offering a racket sports area, a pool table, table tennis table and a comfortable seating area with books and games. Each cottage has its own door allowing access directly into the recreation barn. Shop/Pub: 0.25 miles

Typically suitable for a person with sufficient mobility to climb a flight of steps but would benefit from fixtures and fittings to aid balance.

With exposed flint walls and beams, Hitchens Cottage is on one level, with two spacious bedrooms created from buildings that stabled horses used for the Happisburgh lifeboat. Creatively furnished, the cottage features artwork by Ivon Hitchens. It has an enclosed patio and garden area with gas barbecue, rotary dryer and outside furniture.

Thurgarton is situated in rural North Norfolk where the countryside is criss-crossed with quiet lanes for riding a horse or bicycle, and walkers can enjoy the nearby Weavers Way. It is a perfect location for a get-away-from-it-all holiday yet still offers easy access to all of Norfolk's attractions. The traditional seaside resorts of Sheringham and Cromer with their sandy beaches and rock pools are approximately six miles away, or a little further west is the enormous stretch of sand and dunes at Holkham Bay. There are several National Trust properties to visit and Norwich boasts a fine cathedral as well as restaurants, theatres and galleries. Parking: For three cars on driveway.
Heating: O.F.C.H. included May-Sept, £25 per week Oct-Apr, payable on booking.
Also Provided: Towels, highchair books and games. Broadband available.
Pets: Two well-behaved dogs or cats, to be kept downstairs at all times. Please note the garden is not enclosed.
