Accommodation overview: Very attractive cottage, maintained to a high standard with a lovely enclosed garden. Fakenham is one of Norfolk's traditional country towns, which has a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants and three supermarkets. It has hosted a weekly market since 1250, and although the goods provided for sale may have changed somewhat, together with the auction it still provides a very popular day out for bargain hunters! The town also has a cinema and a ten-pin bowling alley as well as a National Hunt racecourse. Fakenham is just ten miles from the sandy beach at Holkham, two miles from Pensthorpe Nature Reserve, as featured in the BBC Springwatch nature programme, and two miles from The Hawk and Owl Trust at Sculthorpe.

The small village of Bradenham is very pretty with a super village green that is used by the local cricket club in the season, an opportunity for all cricket lovers. It is in an ideal location for exploring Norfolk's Breckland, an area of heathland and forest set in the heart of Norfolk. Ingoldisthorpe is a small village situated on the edge of the Sandringham Estate betwixt the villages of Snettisham and Dersingham. It is surrounded by rolling countryside and the seaside resort of Hunstanton is just minutes away. A little further afield you will find the wide sandy beaches of Brancaster and Holme. The village is well placed for ornithologists with the excellent reserves at Titchwell and Snettisham. The Peddars Way trail offers excellent off-road cycling and walking opportunities and the historic port of King's Lynn is just ten miles away. The Coach House is an early Victorian building, situated across the courtyard of the main house. It has been recently modernised and offers attractive, comfortable and well-equipped accommodation with the use of owner's tennis court.
