The capital of The Broads is only five miles away at Wroxham and you may like to hire a boat to view the miles of waterways. The North Norfolk Heritage Coast and the sandy beaches of Cromer, Mundesley and Holkham are also only a short drive away, as is the fine city of Norwich. There is a pub in the village and further amenities and supermarkets available in the market towns of Aylsham and North Walsham, four miles away.

Lilac Lodge is a recently converted lodge which has been built with character and is beautifully furnished. All on one level, the Lodge is ideal for a couple with its attractive courtyard for sitting out and enjoying a glass of wine or morning cup of coffee. The Lodge is situated in a very peaceful part of the village, the location is ideal and very central for exploring many parts of the surrounding area and attractions. Pub: 0.25 miles
