It is an excellent location for exploring the pretty villages and waterways of the Norfolk Broads. The sandy beaches of the East Coast are also nearby, with the cathedral city of Norwich and the bustling seaside resort of Great Yarmouth within easy driving distance. The village has one of the country's few chain ferries which take you from one side of the river to the other making the Suffolk Heritage Coast easily accessible. The village has shops and a variety of pubs, with further facilities available in the market town of Acle. This is the owner's much loved second home, and the accommodation is unique and full of character with the individual rustic nature of the building being preserved. The rural village of Plumstead is set amidst lovely countryside in an unspoilt part of North Norfolk. It is an ideal location for a relaxing break, with excellent walking, cycling and bird watching in the area. The coastal town of Sheringham is just six miles away and there are numerous places to visit close by. There is a shop and public house one and a half miles away and further wonderful shops, pubs and restaurants are to be found in Holt and Aylsham, which are five miles away. They have been converted to provide comfortable accommodation and are in a lovely peaceful position with views across farmland.
