Great Massingham is a very pretty country village with traditional flint cottages overlooking the village green and ponds. The village is well placed for enjoying the numerous attractions of the area, and is within easy reach of the North Norfolk Coast. This is a great area for walking and cycling with The Peddars Way and an abundance of quiet lanes nearby. The area is also superb for bird and nature lovers with Titchwell and Heacham reserves a short distance away. The Royal Estate at Sandringham is approximately five miles away as are the wide sandy beaches of Hunstanton and Brancaster. Eves Cottage sits in the centre of the village and is attached to the owner's own home. The duck pond is one of the counties most photographed and is almost on the doorstep. Boat enthusiasts will enjoy the sight of one of the last remaining wherries as well as the Heritage Sailing Fleet based at Womack Staithe. Bakers Cottage is a charming Grade II listed building dating back to the 1800s.
