East and West Rudham villages flow into each other and are situated in a very pretty area of West Norfolk. The market town of Fakenham has an excellent market on a Thursday and a visit to the auction rooms on the same day, can be very educational! The coastal village of Stiffkey is set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and has one of the richest salt marshes for wildlife in the country, providing excellent opportunities for both ornithology and walking. The sandy beaches at Holkham and Wells are just four miles along the coast and sailing is available at nearby Morston and Blakeney.
