Accommodation overview: South Lakeland Leisure village is set amidst rolling countryside on the fringes of the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks and is a mere five minutes from junction 35 of the M6. There are a number of lodges on site, set around a central lake area with small, sandy beach area. Within a 30 minute drive and left at the junction 36 are all the attractions of Bowness, Windermere and Ambleside and of course the Lake District Fells and Lakes for walking and water borne activities whilst turning right at junction 36 offers you the route to the Dales, Kirkby Lonsdale and further walking and shopping opportunities. Local delights include Leighton Moss Nature Reserve and Silverside and Arnside, designated An Area of Outstanding Beauty and popular with birdwatchers, some fabulous beaches close by. Lakeland Leisure Village offer lodge guests on site leisure facilities including an indoor pool, steam room, gym and beauty therapy treatments,. Accommodation overview: The accommodation at Clearwater is simply stunning. Built to the highest standards, the property is clad in local stone and features a turf roof sown with wild flowers! Stylish and contemporary, the interior has been well thought out and beautifully dressed. Equally impressive are the list of standard features, which include discreet lighting, under floor heating throughout, a central vacuum system and satellite TV and DVD players in every bedroom! There are three good bedrooms, with one on ground floor level for ease of access, if required.
