The living room has lots of comfy seating and together with a sofa in the spacious dining kitchen and additional lounging area upstairs, there is plenty of space for family members to spread out and do their own thing. All of the bedrooms are attractively presented with crisp white linen and finishing flourishes. On the ground floor you will find a double with ensuite shower room and two twin rooms served by the modern family bathroom. Upstairs the owners have created a fabulous landing area with full width glazed doors opening onto a decked balcony and provided an additional TV and lounging area. A really spacious double room and a twin room also have glazed doors out on to the balcony, which has superb views over the surrounding countryside. A second family bathroom serves these rooms. The rear garden is mostly lawned and is fully enclosed, ideal for children. Enjoy eating al fresco on the decked patio or relaxing with a glass of wine in the evening. A gate from the garden leads onto the path which winds its way to the beautiful golden sandy beach, just a five minute stroll away. Croydes pretty village centre with its collection of thatched cottages, popular pubs and ice cream parlour is an easy stroll away and miles of coastal walks, cycle tracks and fabulous beaches are easily accessible. Beachwalk offers a unique opportunity for parties of either six or ten to enjoy this fabulous holiday retreat. During school holidays, July and September, we will be taking bookings for parties of up to ten, however at other times parties of up to six will be able to stay at a reduced rate, and benefit from the upstairs double and twin bedrooms and superb balcony, together with a ground floor twin bedroom.

It will be hard to tear yourself away from the windows of this charming cottage with outstanding views over the coastline and out to sea as far as Hartland Point. Homestead is just a short stroll to a choice of pubs, the delicatessen, post office and village shop where you can pick up fresh croissants for breakfast! The cottage retains all the charm and character of its age echoed in some exposed stone walls and some uneven floors. A spacious comfortably furnished living room features a stone fireplace with gas fire. The separate dining room is ideal for family meals while enjoying fine views. Steps lead up to a half landing where you will find a fitted oak kitchen to the rear, the family bathroom and an additional compact shower room. Upstairs are three bedrooms all with fantastic views. There is access off the kitchen to a fully enclosed lawned and sheltered cottage style garden, backing onto the National Trust headland and a garden seat is perfectly positioned to enjoy the views. A further small front lawn is found just across the shared driveway. Individually styled and with plenty of character, modern comforts and south facing aspect with outstanding views, Homestead Cottage provides all the ingredients for a lovely holiday.
