Guests can enjoy lovely views from most of the upstairs bedrooms and there is a small reading area that overlooks the garden. The pretty village of Instow, located between Barnstaple and Bideford has stretches of golden, sandy beaches and dunes, which makes this an ideal place for relaxing family holiday. An ideal spot for most watersports and sea - fishing can be enjoyed here, or alternatively local boat trips are available. For those wishing to sample the local food, plenty of pubs and restaurants can be found in Instow and the speciality is seafood - of course. The family-run farm is set in an AONB and Coastal Preservation Area and gives easy access to an extensive network of woodland and coastal walks offering visitors a chance to enjoy this truly breathtaking region of Devon. The nearby NT nature reserve and several SSSI offer a paradise for nature lovers with many birds of prey and deer herds making this their home. The national coastal path runs through the farm and nearby Mouth Mill Beach and Blackchurch Rock are a leisurely 30-minute stroll. The quaint village of Clovelly, with harbour, pubs and cobbled streets is a further hour’s walk along the coast. Hartland village is just over 2 miles away with pubs, small shops, abbey and lighthouse.
