Accommodation overview: Set in historic Warfleet, just half a mile or so from the naval town of Dartmouth with its array of pubs, restaurants, boutiques and galleries, stands The Pottery. Built in 1819 this famous Grade II listed building has variously been a fine paper mill, a bakery, an outstanding brewery and, most recently, The Dartmouth Pottery. Now this historic building has been sensitively redeveloped retaining much of the original character, to create nine beautiful new apartments. Eight superb town houses have also been built in the adjacent grounds.Each property has been equipped and presented to a very high standard, many with distinctive oak flooring, exposed beams and columns and underfloor heating. Accommodation overview: Our Dart Marina properties are situated on the edge of the River Dart in Dartmouth, one of the West Country's most sought after locations. The elegant River Restaurant and first class yacht harbour are all close by, so you can enjoy the boutique hotel experience with the flexibility and freedom of a large, stylish holiday apartment. Picturesque Dartmouth, with its pretty, narrow streets offering art galleries, tea rooms and individual shops is just a short walk along the embankment and the town is gaining a reputation for its great choice of places to eat, with well known chefs in several restaurants. Just outside the town is an excellent golf course and the stunning unspoilt beaches and coastal paths of Start Bay including the Blue Flag award winning Blackpool Sands are just a 10 minute drive away. Individually styled, our eleven Dart Marina properties have been very tastefully and creatively finished but vary slightly in terms of decoration, furnishings and layout. The main reception rooms have each been designed to maximise the views across the River Dart and to the woods beyond. The apartments offer a spacious entrance hall and living accommodation, with large bathrooms on the same level. The townhouse (no 26), formerly the show home, enjoys a private riverside terrace whilst the apartments offer a balcony, a large window seat or fabulous windows from which to enjoy the wonderful views. State-of-the-art contemporary kitchen with Poggenphol units and Smeg appliances making self catering a pleasure, whilst bedrooms and living areas are luxuriously appointed with sumptuous soft furnishings and bathrooms are beautifully presented with towels.All properties are strictly non-smoking and no pets are allowed. A cot and highchair are available at each property on request (excluding No.3), but due to the waterside location parents must supervise young children at all times.
