Fabulous countryside beckons from the doorstep with country lanes, woods and the fantastic Cornish coastline is only 3 miles away. If you enjoy surfing then visit Newquay and one of its 7 award winning golden beaches. Within a few miles radius you could visit the National Trust's Trerice House, go Mediterranean or Tropical at the world famous Eden Project, or even cycle the Camel trail from Wadebridge to Padstow. If you love good food then you will be just as happy visiting any of these areas to sample world renowned cuisine. From the shared walled garden and private screened patio area, enter through double French doors and find this well-appointed Cornish cottage. If you like waking up to far reaching, panoramic views of beautiful open countryside then you'll love Slee's Meadow View. You might also love the fact that this delightful, tastefully decorated modern detached property is just a mile from the sea and the very lovely yet rarely crowded Peppercombe Beach. At high tide this quiet stretch of beach is rocky but low tide will reveal deserted sands and some of the best rock pooling in the area. Little explorers love it! Even in high summer you could be alone here. The walk, through the wooded National Trust owned Peppercombe Valley, is superb and takes about 10-15 minutes. Dogs and their owners will love it - especially as the coast path is just 10 minute's stroll from the property.
Slee's Meadow View is also just a ten minute drive from the surf and sands at Westward Ho!, five minutes from the Big Sheep theme park, five minutes from The Milky Way fun park, ten minutes from the quaint village and harbour at Clovelly and about 30-40 minutes drive along the coast road to the surf and beaches at Bude.
Slee's Meadow View has a large open plan living, dining and kitchen area so it's a very social house to spend time in. A breakfast bar provides informal dining (or a chance to scrutinise the work of the chef whilst enjoying a glass of wine) and a large dining table with six places and a rise and fall lamp can bring a sense of occasion if you need it! On cooler nights the wood burning stove will add an extra cosy feel too. The southerly aspect means that the sun streams in through patio doors on sunny days and the conservatory, with its bookcases and comfy Chesterfield sofa, offers a quiet space to read or take in the views. Both bedrooms are spacious and have patio doors to make the most of the views.
You can step out into the large fenced rear garden from the conservatory - as well as from both bedrooms - to eat, enjoy the views or let the children and pets play (the garden is 'dog-proofed'). The bedrooms are served by a bright family bathroom.

With picture postcard looks, this pretty little thatched cottage is situated just to the edge of Braunton in the pretty hamlet of Heanton. Sitting beside the 16th century Church of St Augustine, in the centre of a row of three, Monks Cottage retains all the charm and character of its age with low ceilings, steep staircase and heavy oak beams throughout, please mind your head! The front entrance is directly off the lane and opens into a spacious hall with an array of books and lots of room for coats, walking boots or buckets and spades.
