Approached from a private gated lane there are a few steps up to the pretty front terrace and entrance door. The spacious light and bright living/dining room features oak beams, panelled walls and has an attractive brick fireplace housing a coal effect electric fire, ideal for cosy evenings. Having an elevated position it benefits from a great view over the harbour side towards Hillsborough and you can enjoy a leisurely breakfast whilst watching the world go by! The modern well equipped kitchen is fitted in cream with beech worktops and a small breakfast bar. As may be expected in a property of this age the family bathroom is on the ground floor and has a pristine white suite. On the first floor are a beautifully presented double bedroom with an ensuite shower room and an attractive twin bedroom. Ideally located close to the seashore, Quay Cottage is within walking distance of all that this popular resort has to offer, and is a perfect base for exploring the nearby rugged coastal paths and natural beauty of Exmoor National Park.
