An attractive twin bedroom and shower room is also on the ground floor. From the entrance hallway a solid wood staircase rises up to the mezzanine floor and a spacious double bedroom with separate dressing room and ensuite bathroom. This attractive galleried landing area, with far reaching views, is a lovely spot for relaxing in the comfy chairs to read a book or the morning papers, and a second TV is a useful bonus for families. A real treat is the large lawn to the side of the cottage, ideal for children to run and play, and the pretty front patio is just perfect for leisurely al fresco meals, barbecues or just relaxing at any time of day. Keen walkers will enjoy taking the footpath to stunning Putsborough beach, which leads almost from the doorstep and takes around twenty minutes.

A short stroll leads down to the pebble beach, where at low tide soft sandy inlets appear between the rock pools. The famous village of Clovelly is well worth a visit, via the coastal path, and you can take a fishing trip from the small cove or simply explore the ancient cobbled streets. Westward Ho! and it’s fabulous stretch of golden sands, popular with surfers is just a ten minute drive away. The gleaming kitchen features a huge dining table for convivial family meals, and full width fully glazed doors which lead out onto the decked patio can be opened up on balmy evenings to bring the outside in. The living room has lots of comfy seating and together with a sofa in the spacious dining kitchen and additional lounging area upstairs, there is plenty of space for family members to spread out and do their own thing. All of the bedrooms are attractively presented with crisp white linen and finishing flourishes. On the ground floor you will find a double with ensuite shower room and two twin rooms served by the modern family bathroom. Upstairs the owners have created a fabulous landing area with full width glazed doors opening onto a decked balcony and provided an additional TV and lounging area. A really spacious double room and a twin room also have glazed doors out on to the balcony, which has superb views over the surrounding countryside. A second family bathroom serves these rooms. The rear garden is mostly lawned and is fully enclosed, ideal for children. Enjoy eating al fresco on the decked patio or relaxing with a glass of wine in the evening. A gate from the garden leads onto the path which winds its way to the beautiful golden sandy beach, just a five minute stroll away. Croydes pretty village centre with its collection of thatched cottages, popular pubs and ice cream parlour is an easy stroll away and miles of coastal walks, cycle tracks and fabulous beaches are easily accessible. Beachwalk offers a unique opportunity for parties of either six or ten to enjoy this fabulous holiday retreat. During school holidays, July and September, we will be taking bookings for parties of up to ten, however at other times parties of up to six will be able to stay at a reduced rate, and benefit from the upstairs double and twin bedrooms and superb balcony, together with a ground floor twin bedroom.
