The Cairn Nature Reserve borders the property, a haven for bird and wildlife and both The Tarka Trail and stunning South West Coastal Path are nearby. A permit for Slade Reservoir, which is ideal for course fishing, can be purchased at the local fishing tackle shop down by the harbour.
