The cottage has its own spring water supply, regularly tested. This is a lovely spot to unwind and enjoy the natural surroundings of the changing seasons, making a perfect hideaway for you and your pets.

The cottage is situated 30 yards from the main house and although you are totally independent, it can be booked as part of Colan Barton if desired.
Gwel an Lagen has views through a small copse, from its open patio area to Colan Church. Dating from 1250 the church has always been part of Colan Bartons landscape. Entrance into Gwel an Lagen is via a stable door into the kitchen / dining room with slate flooring and bespoke kitchen. Three steps down lead to the spacious vaulted living - sleeping area. A large comfortable sofa and a log burner on a raised hearth add a welcome homely and romantic touch.
