Accommodation overview: Manor Farm Cottage is situated in a quiet and tranquil rural position on a working sheep farm, commanding spectacular views over open countryside towards the Hambleton Hills. The property is situated just 1 1/2 miles from Rievaulx Abbey and some 4 miles from the attractive market town of Helmsley, complete with Castle, whilst Thirsk, home of the James Herriot Museum is 11 miles. Excellent footpath walks can be enjoyed from the door, with the Cleveland Way close by, ensuring a perfect base for the outdoor enthusiast. This is really a very good area in which to explore the North York Moors National Park and the many bustling resorts along the East Yorkshire Coastline.
