Accommodation overview: Situated in an idyllic rural position is Skellgill House in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. This wonderful Dales farmhouse has to be Escape to the Country at its best, it even has the meandering Skellgill Beck trickling through the gardens, whilst the sheep graze the fells beyond. What better place could there be to watch the world go by? Although perfectly rural, Skellgill does not feel remote as there is a small traditional dales farm close by. The house itself is extremely spacious and welcoming, keeping that warm, traditional and inviting feeling that you would hope a dales farmhouse would offer. The traditionally presented lounge offers a cosy open fire where you can relax those tired muscles after enjoying a day on the hills, or, perhaps fine dining is your forte, where better to enjoy dinner than in the wonderful spacious dining room adorned with the most beautiful original stone fireplace, high beamed ceilings and yet more picture postcard views. The space and welcoming features continue throughout the house, traditional, unspoilt and homely. Outside, the traditional cottage gardens continue to offer space and tranquillity, with lawn areas, seating areas and the wonderful beck in such stunning surroundings. Where better to spend your Yorkshire Dales Holiday.
