The area is also a haven for the horse enthusiast with numerous stud farms and racing in Clonmel. The medieval towns of Cashel and Cahir are within 20 minutes' drive, or head south into sunny Waterford and explore its lively city centre or the harbour town of Dungarvan. Shop 3½ miles. Pub.
