Hollybrook is situated at the entrance to the renowned Falls Development at Stockghyll, an area of pretty woodland and tumbling waterfalls cascading from Red Screes above to Ambleside Village and the lake below. The Falls are set in one and a half acres of grounds and landscaping on the former site of the old Bobbin Mill. The original buildings have been converted to luxury cottages and apartments with the addition of new accommodation being built in the same slate and stone to blend sympathetically into the area. The Falls are a superb base for local, country and woodland walks with Ambleside Village a short stroll away and Langdale Pike within 4 miles. Offering a variety of shops, pubs and restaurants, Ambleside still retains its unique village atmosphere in the heart of the Lake District. Hollybrook is a well appointed property providing spacious accommodation for up to 6 adults. There are 4 outside seating areas ( 2 of which are covered) one having the benefit of an Outback gas barbeque and another large sun terrace, Hollybrook is only 5 minutes walk from the centre of Ambleside with many fell walks available from on the doorstep.
