The Georgian market town of Holt is just a short distance by car and closer to home is Fakenham with its great food and antique sales rooms. Sculthorpe is located just two miles from the market town of Fakenham and eight miles from the popular North Norfolk Coast. The village has a fabulous fenland nature reserve, which is home to the Hawk and Owl Trust; the whole site is accessed via a Boardwalk and is a super place to observe a wide variety of bird and wildlife. Burnham Market and Holkham are easily accessible and Fakenham offers a variety of shopping opportunities, cinema and bowling centre. The village has two pubs both of which serve good food. National Cycle Route 2 runs through the village and the surrounding quiet lanes, eventually ending at Wells-next-the-Sea. Edna Lodge is a modern bungalow located in the centre of this quiet rural village. Furnished in a light and modern style, the accommodation is cosy and comfortable. The rear bedroom overlooks the garden and has views over open countryside.
