Across the road is the harbour and the old White Star line office - the last departure point for passengers on The Titanic. The train station is 325 yards away - trains go to Cork City (60 mins) and the Fota Wildlife Park (10 mins). Lots of pubs and restaurants are within walking distance, as are various sporting activities. The nearby Heritage Centre tells the story of the famine emigration and of the harbour.
