This part of Dorset offers the superb World Heritage Jurassic Coastline so whether you are into walking, climbing, windsurfing/kite surfing, canoeing/kayaking or water skiing, the area has some of the greatest activities on offer. If you prefer a more relaxing break, why not explore the Isle of Portland, rich in history and archaeology, hunt for fossils or take a leisurely boat trip along some of the 95 mile stretch of Jurassic Coast, with breathtaking scenery and unique wildlife. There is also numerous places and attractions to visit including Sealife Centre, Abbotsbury Swannery, Monkey World Dinosaur Museum, Lulworth Cove and Castle, Durdle Door and so much more. As hosts for the sailing events for the London 2012 Olympic games, the area is geared up to suit all expectations. The accommodation is arranged over three floors and offers FOUR bedrooms: on the third floor, accessed via steep stairs, has 1 double and 1 twin. On the second floor is 1 single and 1 double. Bathroom: family size with bath, shower and WC. Shower room: downstairs with WC. Lounge: cosy room with comfy seating, flat screen TV, DVD, freesat and feature fireplace. Dining room: with feature range cooker, table, chairs and TV/DVD. Kitchen: galley style with cooker, fridge, freezer, washing machine, microwave and many useful extras. Outside: enclosed courtyard with bench table and BBQ. Amenities: parking permit supplied for 1 car in nearby car park, additional weekly tickets can be purchased approximately £38 per week (this fee will be refunded for holidays from 18/7 - 29/8 inc). £100 per week security deposit required 1 week before arrival. Approached via a farm lane and overlooking the working farm, guests are welcome to roam the land and see the animals. This part of Dorset offers a superb cliff-top coastline, which is a World Heritage Site and can easily be joined from the cottage in just 1.5 miles. The surrounding coastline also provides excellent conditions for diving, snorkelling, canoeing/kayaking, windsurfing/kite surfing, fishing and sailing with the 2012 Olympic sailing venue in Portland. Discover the wealth of places to visit including Weymouth with its seafront, beaches, Sealife Centre and harbour, Abbotsbury Swannery, Monkey World, Dinosaur Museum, Lulworth Cove and Castle, Durdle Door and much more. The ground floor accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: 1 galleried double with sloping ceilings approached via a staircase and 1 twin. Shower room: and WC. Lounge/kitchen/diner: open-plan, with TV, DVD, Freeview and patio doors. Kitchen area offers electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice-box and washing machine. Outside: small enclosed patio and lawn area to the front of the property with seating and BBQ. There is a pond at the back which is fenced off from the property but please take care with children.
