Accommodation overview: These two delightful stone barn conversions (HEEX The Garden Barn and HWP Higher Broadaford Barn) are truly a little piece of heaven in Devon. Situated within walking distance of Dartmoor National Park on the edge of Ivybridge, ideally located in the countryside yet within easy access of all main routes. The Garden Barn is a cosy holiday cottage with a romantic feel and its own Mediterranean sunken patio garden. Higher Broadaford Barn has rural views and has been tastefully and lovingly restored to an excellent standard boasting some unique features. Both barns are built from beautiful local natural stone, with cosy and contemporary interiors with a mix of granite lintels, original beams, interesting features and modern kitchens, and are set in a quiet, rural location. Mothecombe (6 miles) has a superb sandy beach. The city of Plymouth, with its vibrant shopping centre, aquarium, historic Barbican area and Plymouth Hoe is just a short drive away. Totnes, a handsome market town in the South Hams, is easily reached and river cruises can be taken from here down to Dartmouth during the summer months. Bird-watching, horse riding, golf and fishing locally. Shop 1 mile, pub 1¼ miles.
