Located in Raftra, a hamlet close to many spectacular coves, many of which are accessed only by foot, on this far western peninsula. Close by is Porthcurno, Lamorna Cove, Lands End with the famous surfing white sandy beach of Sennen and the cove of Nanjizal, offering turquoise seas, white sands and a glorious sunset. Visitors can enjoy spectacular coastal walks, gardens and the romantic Minack Open Air Theatre, which was the inspiration and life’s work of Rowena Cade. This is an ideal holiday location for touring the many different coasts of Cornwall. Visit Penzance with its busy marina, promenade, harbour and selection of museums and galleries, the quaint fishing port of Newlyn, and picturesque harbour of Mousehole famous for its Christmas lights, art galleries, cafes and restaurants. There are a host of attractions in the area, including St Michael’s Mount, Lands End, sub-tropical gardens and an abundance of industrial and maritime history, not to mention the spectacular scenery the countryside and coast has to offer.
