Accommodation overview: 1 OF 3 PROPERTIES TUCKED AWAY IN THE NORTH DEVON COUNTRYSIDE Voley Farm is tucked away in its own 47 acres in a sunny valley within the Exmoor National Park. Surrounded by panoramic views and bordered by woodland, a river, and rolling pasture, it is a perfect place for a secluded and peaceful self-catering holiday. At the end of a long unmade farm track, Voley Farm is 3 miles from the unspoilt village of Parracombe with its award-winning pub and friendly shop and Post Office. You will be within easy reach of moorland and the North Devon coast, Lynton and Lynmouth and the sandy beaches at Woolacombe and Croyde. Footpaths lead directly from the cottages to the moors and the sea. As well as splendid walking there are riding stables nearby together with a wide variety of local attractions for all weathers. Voley Farm is also home to many wild animals and the only sounds you might hear at night are the hoots of owls and the occasional bleating of sheep. The three cottages have been sympathetically converted to a high standard from a Victorian stone barn. They are set in a secluded, sheltered valley next to the owner's farmhouse. The cottages retain many period features such as vaulted, beamed ceilings and wooden floors. When combined with modern features such as fully equipped kitchens, central heating and cosy wood burners, these give the cottages much charm and comfort. Utility: shared laundry room with an automatic washing machine, large overhead drying rack and payphone for outgoing calls only. Outside: communal grassy field with garden furniture for playing outdoor games, picnicking or a quiet read. Games room: situated in one of the courtyard barns with table tennis, table football, and a childrens snooker table. Amenities: bed linen, electric and full central heating included. Towels for hire. 1st basket of logs free then £5 per basket. Free Wi-Fi. Arrival 3pmMill Cottage is a barn situated in the owner's courtyard opposite the games barn and offers TWO bedrooms: 1 double and 1 twin. The twin is galleried and accessed via a spiral staircase. Shower room: situated downstairs with shower, WC, basin and shaver point. Lounge/kitchen/diner: lovely spacious area with fridge, dishwasher, cooker, microwave. Lounge area with TV, DVD and wood burner. Outside: picnic table and BBQ situated in the communal courtyard next to the cottage. Amenities: 2 well behaved dogs welcome but must not be left unattended and must be kept on leads where requested . Regret no smoking.
