Accommodation overview: LOVINGLY CONVERTED CHAPEL CONVENIENTLY POSITIONED ON THE DEVON/DORSET BORDER An idyllic spot in the small village of Smallridge, easy distance to Lyme Regis, Dorset's pearl of the Jurassic Coast, its Cobb town and not forgetting its sandy beach at Lyme Bay (20 minutes drive). Other places of interest are Axminster famed for its carpets, Honiton, for it's lace making and Beer for its fishing and stories of smuggling and pirates. If all this is not enough you are only a 35 minutes drive from Exeter with it's vast range of leisure facilities. The owners small hotel/restaurant ,The Ridgeway Inn, is right next door and offers a relaxing atmosphere, excellent food and a wide selection of wines and ales, a real treat to return to after a day of adventures. By arrangement visitors are welcome to view the owners smallholding which includes Dexter cows, pigs, geese, chickens and ducks. The accommodation is finished to a high standard with many interesting and unusual features. Offering TWO bedrooms: both with CD players and clock radios. Upstairs, 1 galleried double room with en-suite shower and washbasin and WC. Downstairs 1 twin room. Shower room: downstairs with large cubicle and WC. Lounge/kitchen/diner: with under floor heating, leather tub chairs and wall mounted flat screen TV. Additional lounge area with comfy seating (up a couple of steps). Kitchen area is well fitted with washer/dryer, dishwasher, electric oven, hob, fridge with small freezer section and microwave. Outside: use of Ridgeway Inn's garden with raised decking area, ornamental pond and large covered gazebo just a few steps away, or you can sit directly outside the cottage on the small patio area. Amenities: ample parking a few steps away. Bed linen, towels, tea towels, electric, central heating and complimentary breakfast pack included. Regret no pets or smoking. Location: beach 10 miles, shops 2 miles (Axminster),pub/inn next door.
