Within a few minutes’ walk is a thriving village store, tea room and the popular Lord Poulett Arms that has won a host of awards including the Good Hotel Guide Gastro Pub of the Year 2008. While away the hours exploring the beautiful surrounding countryside which is dotted with other small picturesque villages and market towns which are stunning in all seasons. The pretty town of Crewkerne is just 3 miles away and has a selection of shops and good places to eat, and the market town of Bridport, with its popular farmers markets, is just 15 miles. The Heritage Coastline is easily accessible by car, from the well known beaches of Burton Bradstock (35 minute drive), West Bay and Lyme Regis to the famous Chesil Beach that stretches for 18 miles. Discover the wealth of places to visit including Montacute House, Barrington Court, Dorchester Sherborne Castle, and there is even a polo club 3 miles away.
