Manor Mill has a secluded heated indoor swimming pool with an outside sun terrace, and a stone barbecue which offers the perfect way to spend a relaxing afternoon or evening - eating or drinking to the accompaniment of the rippling sound of the River Tone. The children’s play area is a haven for fun, complete with swings, slides, a miniature fortress and large trampoline. A selection of video, board games, books and magazines are also available to borrow. The extensive grounds and idyllic surroundings offer a wonderfully relaxing location and a delightful rural retreat. Manor Mill, located on the Devon border, provides an excellent base for touring the West Country, with easy access to the Quantock Hills, the coast of south Devon and north Somerset and on the edge of the glorious wilderness of Exmoor. Accommodation overview: With a stunning outlook over moorland and surrounding countryside, this 17th-century listed holiday property could hardly be more aptly named. Set on the edge of a 200-acre farm, where visitors are welcome to walk the fields and woodlands, with many walks from the front door. It has an attractive and private garden and red deer are a regular sight from its setting just below the church, in one of the smallest villages in the Exmoor National Park. The village and its surrounding area is the setting for a lot of TV’s Johnny Kingdom series. South Molton is 7 miles, Lynton and Lynemouth are just 15 miles distant with Dulverton 8 miles and Dunster Castle 20 miles. Barnstaple 18 miles offers good shopping. Shops 4 miles, pubs and restaurants 2-7 miles. Beamed living room with wood-burning stove in inglenook fireplace. Beamed fitted kitchen with dining area, Rayburn, electric cooker.
