Accommodation overview: This delightful barn conversion is situated at the end of a long driveway on the owner's working 100 acre farm, which has mainly sheep and cattle, chickens, dogs and a horse. The barn overlooks the surrounding fields and has views over Roadford Lake, and on a clear day you can see most of Dartmoor. Located only a 10 minute drive to the A30 makes Dartlake View easily accessible and an ideal base from which to explore both Devon and Cornwall. Visit the many National Trust houses and gardens, or the sandy beaches on the North coast. The Eden Project, Plymouth, Exeter, Barnstaple and Truro are all approximately a one hour drive. With so much to see and do, you will look forward to returning to your comfortable holiday home. The barn has been refurbished in a contemporary style and offers FOUR bedrooms: downstairs, 2 separate single rooms which can, on request, have the room partition wall removed to make into a double or twin room. Upstairs, 2 further twin rooms with Velux windows (partial height restrictions) but which can be made into doubles if preferred. Wide landing area ideal for travel cot (restricted height.) Bathroom: located downstairs, large wet room with shower and WC. Separate downstairs WC. Lounge: reached via the sloping hallway floor, with 32" flat screen TV, DVD, comfy seating and French doors leading out onto a small balcony that leads to the open patio parking and lawn area with far reaching views of Dartmoor. Kitchen/diner: open-plan area with TV, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and microwave. Table and chairs seating 6. Utility: outside area including washing machine. Outside: garden with patio, furniture and gas BBQ. Amenities: ample parking. Bed linen and electric included. Towels for hire. Regret no smoking within the property. 1 small pet by arrangement.
