Accommodation overview: Netherton Farm is set in a small peaceful hamlet approximately two miles from Kingsbridge in a secluded valley surrounded by five acres of beautiful farm and woodland. This area is a haven for birds and wildlife and a favourite for walkers with or without a four-legged friend! Salcombe is about seven miles in one direction and Dartmouth slightly further in the other. Slapton Sands with its spectacular rugged coastline, is only five miles from Netherton, and Bantham Sands to the west with it's wide sandy beach. The three properties at Netherton Farm - Boxtree Barn, Bay Tree Cottage and Willow Studio - are all very different in design but offer all guests a high standard of accommodation in a stunning location. Each property enjoys the benefit of full central heating and hot water to ensure a warm, cosy welcome at all times of the year, as well as use of the fabulous heated outdoor swimming pool (10m x 5m) by arrangement with the owners - who live nearby at the Farmhouse - from Easter until the end of October (weather permitting!). There is ample parking for each of the properties and a large communal grassed area for the use of all guests. For those with dogs, there is use of additional fields adjoining the farmhouse. The owners also offer a dog sitting service in their home and walled garden if required.

Accommodation overview: A semi detached cottage set within a small hamlet about 2 miles from the coast at Pentewan which can be reached by car or by cycle path alongside the river.  Set to one side of the Mevagissey road and fronted by a small but very pretty walled and gated garden it is entered via a side path to a service courtyard at one side. 

A door opens directly into a small fitted kitchen with a glazed door leading into an attractive beamed sitting / dining room with comfortable seating and a fireplace with an electric fire at the further end. 

Open tread stairs go directly up to the first floor where there is a bathroom W.C. with hand basin, bath and  shower cubicle and a bedroom with a double bed.  A traditional staircase continues up to the top floor and a delightful bedroom with a 4ft double bed.   There is a useful shed for bike and beach gear storage.  

A small shop about 150 yards away has long opening hours during the season There is a bistro restaurant in the village and a pub a short walk away.  Pentewan village about 2 miles has a pub, restaurant and small shops.  Ideally situated for touring the County, the cottage is approximately midway between the Lost Gardens of Heligan and The Eden Project, with beaches and golf courses within easy reach. 

On one side of the valley between London Apprentice and Pentewan is the beautiful and ancient Kings Wood popular with walkers and cyclists.  St Austell 2 miles has a leisure centre, shops and cinema and its main line railway station and bus terminus can be easily accessed from a bus stop at London Apprentice.  The picturesque harbours of Mevagissey and Charlestown are approximately 4 miles.

Accommodation overview: A double-glazed barn conversion furnished to a very high standard, set in the pretty little village of Mithian only two miles from St Agnes on the dramatic North Coast and three miles from the popular seaside resort of Perranporth.

Entered through a gated paved driveway where there is ample room for parking, the front door opens to a lobby with an adjacent cloakroom W.C. and hand basin. An inner glazed door opens directly into the kitchen/dining room with smart fitted units and a solid ash dining table with bench seats. To the left, a hallway leads to a utility area, a bathroom W.C. with hand basin and shower over the bath and a ground floor twin bedroom with a window overlooking the small terrace and flower beds to the front of the property.

On the opposite side of the kitchen is an attractive sitting room with beams rising up to the high ceiling and comfortable furniture facing two sets of French Windows. At the rear, four steps lead up to a galleried lower landing and a bedroom with a 5ft double bed and an en-suite shower room W.C. and vanity basin, and at the other end a solid ash minstrel staircase continues up to a small gallery for use as an additional sitting/reading area. An outhouse is available for secure undercover storage of bicycles (key on request).

The village pub is just a two minute walk and the shops and Cathedral in Truro are a 15 minute drive. Perranporth has a 3 mile stretch of flat golden beach and Trevaunance Cove near St Agnes offers extensive rock pools to explore. Entered from the parking area where there is space for two cars, a couple of steps and a sloping path lead down to the front door which opens to an entrance hallway. Leading off the hall are a family bathroom W.C. with vanity basin and shower over the bath, an additional cloakroom W.C. and a spacious master bedroom with a double bed and en-suite shower room W.C. with hand basin. 

A large sitting room has comfortable leather furniture overlooking the sea with doors leading to a twin bedded room and a newly fitted modern kitchen.  Accessed from both the lounge and kitchen, sliding patio doors and a couple of steps lead down to a conservatory which spans the width of the house with panoramic coastal views, a cane suite and a glass topped dining table. 

French Windows open from here to a long railed balcony on the seaward side with a spacious outdoor seating area at one end. To complete the accommodation, a narrow staircase leads up to an attic bedroom with three single beds set under the sloping ceiling and beautiful sea views from a dormer window. 

The pub,cafe and local store at Mawgan Porth can be accessed via the beach or alternatively one mile by road, for surfing enthusiasts Watergate Bay is only three miles along the coast road and for a larger selection of amenities Newquay is six miles.  There are peaceful woodland walks through the Lanherne Valley leading inland and horse riding is available nearby.

Approached from an open drive through a hedged front garden with a sheltered lawn, one step leads up to a double glazed front door which opens to an L shaped hallway with coat pegs.  At the front of the property is a light and comfortable sitting room with lounge seating facing the electric fire and views across the valley from a large window, and on the other side of the hallway is a bright double bedroom.  The newly refurbished modern kitchen is well equipped, there is an adjacent dining room which can be accessed from the sitting room and the hall and from here, sliding doors lead out to a small conservatory giving access to the patio area

The master bedroom has a double bed overlooking the peaceful rear garden and a bathroom W.C. with hand basin and shower over the bath completes the accommodation.  The large enclosed garden at the rear is sheltered and has a sunny patio area, spacious lawns, mature shrubs, an outside laundry room and a gated path to the front parking area.  There is room for 2 cars on the sloping drive and no parking restrictions on the road outside. 

The local shops, pub and the tidal creek at Mylor Bridge are just a five minute walk, and Mylor Harbour where there is a marina and boat hire is 2 miles away and can be reached by footpath from the village.  Forget me Not offers a good base from which to explore both country and creekside walks, the attractive resort of Falmouth with a variety of glorious sandy beaches is 5 miles and there is also a plenitude of public and National Trust gardens to visit in the area.  The cathedral city of Truro is 8 miles, there is a golf course and horse riding nearby, and Bissoe bike hire have a good selection of cycles to explore the picturesque Coast to Coast cycle trail.

Accommodation overview: Pont House, with its own boathouse, garage and secluded gardens, is situated in an elevated and sunny position, overlooking Pont Pill. Both house and gardens have magnificent views of the creek. The main gate opens to the parking area and spacious garage / boathouse equipped with table tennis table.

Beyond the boathouse, a short path and a few railed steps give access to the main house and a winding hillside path leading to an elevated garden / patio on top of the old limekiln, with commanding views of the quay and creek below. The front door opens into an attractive fitted kitchen. 

Beyond is the dining room which has stairs to the floor above, a wood burning stove and an adjacent cloakroom with hand basin and separate W.C. At the furthest end of the house, a comfortable sitting room has wonderful views down the creek from French windows. These windows open onto a short flight of railed steps, a large patio area and a level, fenced and gated lawn.

Upstairs, the landing links three bedrooms and a bathroom. The master bedroom has a king size bed, wash basin and stunning creek views. The other two bedrooms have twin divan beds, one with creek views. The bathroom is equipped with a bath, W.C., hand basin and separate shower cubicle.

Both Bodinnick and Polruan, which are in easy walking distance, have popular Inns providing good pub food. Fowey, with its rich variety of pubs, restaurants and cafes is 1.5 miles via the Bodinnick car / pedestrian ferry or half a mile down the creek by boat.

Guests from Pont House and Pont Quay Cottage may use this private quay, slipway and foreshore for their own and hire boats with the prior agreement of the owner. Pets are welcome at Pont but must be kept under control at all times to protect the abundant wildlife.
There is a seasonal shop at Penmarlam campsite 1 mile away.
