Accommodation overview: With wonderful sea views overlooking Looe Bay, this first floor self contained apartment is set in a quiet elevated position at the rear of the owners timber clad detached house, just five minutes walk from the sea and beach.

Entered from the parking area below the property where there is space for one medium size car, a flight of 40 external steps lead up through the owners mature landscaped garden to the entrance at the rear.

From here, a half glazed door opens directly into a neatly fitted kitchenette with a Belfast sink, an electric two ring hob and small oven/grill. Leading off to one side, an inner door opens to a cosy open plan living room with a high beamed ceiling, a comfortable settee and drop leaf dining suite, and a bay window with stunning views of the sea and coastline. A wide archway at the far end leads to a double bedroom with a hand basin and fine sea views over the bay, and an en-suite shower room W.C.

At the rear of the property, a flight of 20 steps continue up the hillside to a sloping lawned garden for the sole use of the visitors, with a wooden sun deck to take full advantage of the panoramic sea views towards Looe Island and beyond. The villages of Downderry to the east and Seaton to the west both have a local shop, pub, restaurant and south facing beach of sand and pebbles, and are about 500 yards respectively.

For a wider selection of amenities, the market town of Liskeard is a 15 minute drive and has supermarkets and a leisure centre with swimming pool. The picturesque harbour village of Looe, 7 miles, offers pleasure boat and fishing trips from the quayside and there is also coarse fishing available nearby at Crafthole and Bake Lakes.

The cliff top golf course at Portwrinkle is 5 miles and it is also just a short drive to the magnificent houses and gardens of Mount Edgcumbe and Antony House. The South West Coast Path enjoys wonderful views along Whitsand Bay to Rame Head, and there are woodland walks inland through the Seaton Valley Countryside Park. A community bus service operates within the local area.

Accommodation overview: A detached, spacious, double glazed stone barn conversion with extensive views of unspoilt countryside, only a few minutes drive from the market town of Wadebridge and within easy reach of all the beaches around the Camel Estuary. Set at the end of a long farm drive, which leads up from a quiet country lane to the Hay Barn, the owners home and the existing working pasture farm is to one side.

From the parking area, a couple of steps lead up through the patio garden with stone chippings and flower borders to the stable front door which opens into the ground floor hallway. Downstairs there are a shower room W.C. with hand basin, a family bedroom with a double and single bed and a master bedroom with a kingsize bed and an en-suite bathroom W.C. with hand basin and shower over the bath. Both bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and French Windows overlooking the original farmyard.

Wooden stairs lead up to the centre of an attractive open-plan living room comprising the whole of the upper floor with windows on two sides giving views of the surrounding countryside. With a light and airy décor, there is a comfortable sitting area with a wood burning stove and a stable door in one corner. At the opposite end of the large living room bisected by the stairwell, there is a modern kitchen area with oak fitted units, a ceramic tiled floor and a farmhouse style dining table and chairs. To one side of the parking area, there is a small level lawn for the sole use of the visitors.

Wadebridge, 2 miles, has a good selection of shops, restaurants, a cinema and a sports centre with swimming pool, and there is also a supermarket within a 5 minute drive. There are several village pubs offering food within a short drive, as are a good variety of beaches, golf courses and watersport activities. The area has good rural walks, riding stables and cycle trails including the popular Camel Trail, bicycle hire is available in both Padstow and Wadebridge.

Accommodation overview: Only 10 minutes from the sea and just 3 miles from the Eden Project, this quaint little converted cider press with inverted accommodation has been freshly renovated and stands on its own across the river from the original mill, surrounded by peaceful grounds and woodland. 

Situated in the quintessentially Cornish Luxulyan Valley (no mobile, phone or WiFi reception) with great natural beauty and recently awarded World Heritage Site status, the cottage has its own riverside garden running down to the banks of the boulder-strewn River Par which forms part of the boundary. 

Approached through a narrow gateway to the private parking area, a short walk (100 yards) via a grassy path leads through the orchard to the secluded front terrace where there is a spacious outdoor hot tub (additional charge) for the visitors sole use.  From here, a glazed door with low head clearance opens directly into the ground floor bedroom with a 5ft double bed, a beamed ceiling and a recently upgraded en-suite shower room W.C. with hand basin. 

In one corner of the room, a wooden staircase winds directly up to a galleried open-plan living room on the first floor with natural wood flooring, a hip shaped ceiling and views of the countryside from several small windows. There is a newly fitted kitchen area with solid oak units incorporating an electric oven and ceramic hob, a small dining table and chairs and a comfortably furnished lounge area with a leather corner settee. 

There are garden table and chairs on the front terrace which catches the afternoon sun and trails lead through the woods to both the lawned garden and orchard bordered on one side by the river and its small tumbling waterfalls.
 
Luxulyan village and St Blazey, 1.5 miles respectively, each have a pub and local shop/P.O., for a wider selection of amenities, the towns of Lostwithiel, Fowey and St Austell are all within a 15 minute drive. The large, south facing beach at Par Sands and the small sandy harbour beach at Polkerris are both about a 10 minute drive away and there are boat trips available departing from Fowey. There are several golf courses within the immediate vicinity and the Saints Way coast-to-coast recreational route passes nearby.

Accommodation overview: A cosy traditional double-fronted stone built cottage near the centre of St Agnes within easy walking distance of local shops, pubs and restaurants, and only half a mile from the sandy surfing beach at Trevaunance Cove. The cottage has great character and interesting origins taking its name from the now empty Rocket House next door, from which the maroons were fired to summon the life boat men to give assistance for those in distress along the coast.

Entered directly from the road into a tiny central hallway, there is a sitting room on one side with a glazed door leading to a small enclosed courtyard garden at the rear and on the other side a dining room, both rooms have low windows and are comfortably furnished. Beyond the dining room is a small fitted kitchen and at the other end a lobby and a bathroom W.C. with hand basin and shower over the bath.

Cottage stairs lead up from the dining room to a landing and three pleasant bedrooms, two at the front, a double and one with twin beds, the third bedroom at the rear with a kingsize double and an en-suite shower room W.C. with hand basin.

The pretty south facing courtyard garden has a patio area set in green slate chippings and access to a gated side lane. There are no parking restrictions on the road outside.

Offering a peaceful holiday setting, the single-storey family friendly accommodation is entirely on the level and is approached by a short winding driveway through the mature trees to a gravel parking area with a gently sloping path up to the entrance.

The front door opens into a main hallway, and to one side a door leads through to a light and airy living room with a cosy wood burning stove and a comfortable lounge suite set by the sliding patio doors.

At the rear of the living room there is a dining area with views across to the neighbouring meadow and an adjacent doorway leads into a well equipped fitted kitchen with a window overlooking the woodland area.

There are two good sized bedrooms enjoying views over the surrounding garden, a double with an en-suite bathroom W.C. with small hand basin and shower over the bath and a bedroom with twin beds plus cot bed. There are convector heaters in both bedrooms.

To complete the accommodation, leading off the hallway is a family bathroom W.C. with hand basin, bath and separate shower cubicle.

To the rear of the property is a small lawned area and to the front there is a private garden with a small level lawn, flower and shrub borders and an adjoining patio with a brick built barbecue for the sole use of Hazel Croft. There is parking available for 2 cars with further spaces on request.

Accommodation overview: Less than 15 minutes by car from the beautiful fishing port of Looe and the South Coast beaches, this detached double glazed barn conversion with lovely country views is set in the peaceful rural hamlet of Trelowia

Built into sloping ground at the end of a long lane with a parking area for two cars, the front door opens directly into a long living room with painted stonewalls, pine flooring and beams rising to the apex of the roof.  There is a comfortable seating area with an electric flicker flame fire set before a large picture window, a dining suite is arranged in the middle of the room and a fully fitted kitchen with double oven shares the rural views

To one side, a few steps lead up to a hallway with a bathroom W.C. with hand basin and shower over the bath and a downstairs bedroom with a 5ft double, board and beam ceiling and a window overlooking the owners terrace.

Stairs from the hall lead up to two further bedrooms; a modest sized room with two 3ft single beds and the master bedroom with a 5ft double, an en-suite shower room W.C. with hand basin and a door opening to a small patio area.  There are two areas of lawned garden, one at each end of the property for the visitors sole use. 

There is an extensive local farm shop 3/4 of a mile along the country lane and the nearest newsagent/P.O./store is at No Man’s Land just over 2 miles away. Hessenford,1.25 miles, has a delightful old Inn and there are a wealth of woodland walks following the tumbling river through the beautiful Seaton Valley.

The twin villages of Seaton and Downderry both with sandy beaches are approx 4 miles by road and for a larger selection of amenities the towns of Liskeard and Looe are a 15 minute drive respectively.

Set in beautiful countryside with tranquil views from the inverted accommodation and wildlife walks around Restronguet Creek, a 15 minute drive, it is approached by a gated drive that leads to the spacious parking area

The front door opens to an entrance porch with a utility area. An inner door leads through to the ground floor hallway where there is a shower room W.C. with hand basin and two cottage style bedrooms, a double bedded room and one with two single beds, each furnished in antique pine with beamed ceilings, natural wood floors and soft colourings. 

Uncarpeted stairs wind up from the hallway to an open plan living room that takes up the whole of the first floor, consisting of a smartly fitted kitchen area with a belfast sink, a lovely hand built ash dining suite and a very comfortable seating area at one end beneath a pine clad hip ceiling. A wide stable door opens to a flight of railed granite steps that lead down to a securely fenced rear garden

Visitors are welcome to mindfully explore part of the owners non-working farmland which includes a lake but dogs must be kept on a lead. There is undercover storage for bicycles and beach gear in one of the few farm outbuildings. There are two local pubs within a mile of the property and several small shops in the surrounding villages less than 2 miles away. The gardens of Trelissick, Glendurgan and Trebah are a short drive as is the new impressive National Maritime Museum, Falmouth and the Cathedral city of Truro are 7 miles.

Accommodation overview: With a glorious view over the rooftops to the harbour and across St Ives Bay, this first floor apartment is one of three recently converted from an original Presbytery set right in the heart of the picturesque harbour town of St Ives.  This double glazed, light and airy apartment offers warm and comfortable year round accommodation and is just a short stroll from the harbour and the splendid sandy beaches that form a golden fringe around the town. 

Accessed from the bustling main street, a couple of steps lead up to the communal hallway and an internal railed stairway leads to the private front door on the first floor which opens to a carpeted hallway.  Furnished in a contemporary style, the accommodation comprises of a living room with a smartly fitted kitchen area, comfortable lounge seating and a dining suite next to a large window with delightful views extending over the rooftops across St Ives Bay and out to sea.

There are two pleasantly furnished bedrooms in a crisp décor on the landward side; a spacious master bedroom with a 5ft double, and one with a standard double bed and the original ornamental fireplace.  To complete the accommodation, there is a modern shower room W.C. with hand basin and heated towel rail accessed from the hallway.  The bell of the Sacred Heart and St la church attached only rings on a Sunday morning. 

There are a wide selection of shops, restaurants, pubs and art galleries within easy walking distance, as are several sandy beaches, the nearest being either the Harbour or Porthminster Blue Flag beach which also has a watersports centre

Fishing boats still operate from the lovely harbour as do pleasure boat trips and self hire boats, there is a leisure centre with swimming pool nearby and scenic circular and cliff walks around St Ives incorporating the South West Coastal Path.  A local bus service operates to Penzance, Hayle, St Agnes, Perranporth & Newquay and this apartment is also conveniently located for the railway station if wishing to holiday without a car.
